Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Depot Administrator to join our high-performing depot administration team. In this role, you will work closely with the Site Manager and Finance Manager to ensure the day-to-day administration for the depot is handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll and maintain petty cash records.
  • Administer new starters and leavers to the depot.
  • Collate personnel and training records.
  • Perform secretarial duties, including typing confidential documents and letters.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative role, ideally with payroll data entry experience.
  • Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
  • Polite and professional demeanor at all times, with a willingness to go the extra mile to help the depot achieve its targets.
  • Excellent administration skills, with the ability to use Google Suite/Microsoft Office programs.
  • A high level of accuracy, self-motivation, and organization.
  • The ability to demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Caring, and Accountability.
