SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.
About the Role:- Work closely with students with special educational needs (SEN) to provide tailored support and facilitate their learning and development.
- Assist the SENCO and teaching staff in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and ensuring that students receive appropriate accommodations and resources.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional wellbeing of students with SEN.
- Collaborate with external agencies, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students with SEN.
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive difference in students' lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs of students and the school community.
- For SEN LSAs: Experience working with students with special educational needs and knowledge of relevant strategies and interventions would be advantageous.

Please note that all pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, but the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
