Transportation Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to join our Transportation team in Birmingham. As an integral part of the Engineering team, you will lead technical staff in managing highway assets, including carriageways, footways, bridges, and street lighting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing surveys and inspections of highway structures, carriageways, and footways in accordance with industry best practices.
- Developing and implementing programmes of work for carriageways, footways, street lighting, bridges, and other highway assets.
- Maintaining accurate data on the Confirm information management system.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or qualification in engineering with knowledge of relevant legislation and Codes of Practice. A current full driving licence and good understanding of the Birmingham highway network are also essential.
This role offers a competitive annual salary of £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience, along with a fantastic benefits package, including a matched pension scheme, 24/7 virtual GP service, and opportunities to buy/sell leave.
Key Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in highway asset management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.
- Current full driving licence.
