About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled front-end developer to join our e-commerce tech team in Enderby. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the user interface of our online platform, working in an agile team alongside other developers to build upon our quality-centric e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance the user interface of our online platform using modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Work collaboratively with the development team to deliver high-quality features and functionality.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our platform's user experience and efficiency.
  • Provide development support to internal users and offer out-of-hours cover during seasonal events and busy trading periods.
Requirements
  • Strong experience of standard front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with Google Analytics.
  • Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React.
  • Source control with Git.
  • Awareness and practice of UI performance and accessibility best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Understanding of the Agile methodologies and best practices.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience of working in an Agile team.
  • Experience with ADO.
  • Experience with the Monetate platform.
  • An understanding of service-oriented architecture.
