  • We are seeking an ambitious Culinary Specialist to join our team at Compass Group UK&I.

About the Role:

The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. This will involve overseeing and implementing menu changes, identifying opportunities to improve our food services, and listening and acting on customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets our clients' and customers' expectations
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Possession of a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Experience in a similar Chef role
  • Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
  • Flexible approach to working
