**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team in Witney. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

**Responsibilities:**

  • SUPPORTING INDIVIDUALS WITH PERSONAL CARE NEEDS:
    • Assisting with intimate personal care, mobility assistance, and daily living skills
    • Encouraging and empowering individuals to be actively engaged in their daily lives
  • WORKING IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT:
    • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support
    • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • ADMINISTERING MEDICATION AND SUPPORTING WITH MOBILITY ASSISTANCE:
    • Following established procedures for administering medication and providing mobility assistance
    • Working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure individuals receive the best possible care

**Requirements:**

  • QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Relevant qualifications in health and social care or equivalent experience
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals who use alternative forms of communication
  • EMPATHY AND COMPASSION:
    • Genuine empathy and understanding when working with individuals who may have complex needs
