About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker/Advanced Practitioner to join our Safeguarding team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a purposeful and professional social work service to children in need and their families.

As a Social Worker/Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and managing risk, developing and implementing plans to safeguard children, and working with families to provide support and interventions. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of our services and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about social work and has a strong commitment to safeguarding children. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders.

You will have a good understanding of current legislation and policies related to child protection and safeguarding, as well as experience of working with children and families in a social care setting. You will also be able to produce high-quality assessments and reports, and have the ability to work effectively in a team.
