About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Vision for Education in Newcastle. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a specialist provision.

Responsibilities

  • To work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to develop strategies to support students with SEN.
  • To provide individualised support to students to help them access the curriculum.
  • To contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

  • A passion for working with students with SEN.
  • Experience of working with students who have Autism or other additional needs.
  • A nurturing and engaging personality.
