Risk Management and Internal Audit Manager Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Risk Management and Internal Audit Manager to lead our risk management and internal audit initiatives. This critical role involves developing a robust risk management framework, conducting thorough internal audits, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of humanitarian issues and standards, including codes of conduct and accountability principles. They will also possess a working knowledge of French or Spanish.

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing CARE International UK's risk management framework
  • Maintaining and updating the organisation's risk register
  • Providing regular risk management reports
  • Developing and executing an annual internal audit plan
  • Ensuring compliance with recognised auditing standards
