Catering Operations Manager

We're seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at ESS, a leading provider of food and hospitality services to Defence, Government, and Energy sectors. As a Catering Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchens and service counters, delivering exceptional food experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation of delicious food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Supervise and motivate our culinary and catering teams to achieve exceptional customer service and food quality.
- Communicate effectively with your line manager to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
- Represent ESS and maintain a positive brand image, ensuring our values and standards are upheld.
- Liaise with customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations and build strong relationships.
- Support and train our teams, leading by example to ensure everyone can excel in their role.
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
- Minimum of two years of catering experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Experience managing teams in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ambitious and motivated individual, always looking to upskill and develop their career.
