Workforce Development Specialist: Driving Quality Training for Adult Care Practitioners

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workforce Development Specialist to join our Quality and Assurance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our Adult Social Care staff receive the necessary skills, knowledge, and support to deliver exceptional care to Wiltshire residents.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality training programs tailored to the needs of Adult Care practitioners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training gaps and develop solutions.
- Commission and coordinate training activities from internal and external providers.
- Analyze data to inform training program development and evaluate its effectiveness.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field (social care, training, and development).
- Experience working in social care or a similar environment.
- Up-to-date understanding of adult care legislation, policy, and best practices.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to analyze data to inform decision-making.
