Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Linde. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects that enable innovative supply solutions across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects that deliver industrial gas solutions, hydrogen supply, decarbonisation, and gas to future clean energy providers.
  • Provide engineering support to sales to help win and deliver new projects.
  • Ensure project design and costs are competitive and solutions are practicable.
  • Manage project timescales and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in the preparation of standards to enable project management and improvement.
  • Lead teams of multi-discipline engineers in preparing and designing solutions to complex process problems.
  • Review detailed drawings of equipment and systems and equipment specifications.
  • Prepare project documentation and participate in the selection of equipment suppliers and contractors.
  • Deliver classroom-based training to plant operational and maintenance staff on normal system operation and diagnosis.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in technical roles in a process industry.
  • Practical experience of working in an industrial environment such as water, steelworks, process industry, or Oil & Gas.
  • Chartered Mechanical or Process Engineer or close to applying for Chartered status.
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering discipline.
  • Project Management skills, APM PMQ preferred but can be provided.
  • Health and Safety Legislation knowledge, a NEBOSH Diploma preferred but can be provided.
  • Ability to demonstrate a drive to deliver and improve and continuously improve self.
  • Knowledge of the appropriate Legislative and Regulatory requirements associated with pressure systems, operational process plants, and site construction.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective prioritisation during periods of competing demands.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards.
