Global Category Manager - Indirect Products and Services

Marshall is seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager to lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect products and services. This role will play a key part in driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, and enhancing the overall procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement multi-year category strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate category risks, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize category opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to drive performance and cost savings.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to procurement teams to ensure effective category management.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in category management, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the defense industry and its challenges.
