About the Role:

GCH is a dynamic housing association with a strong focus on building homes and communities where people can thrive. We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of valued services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist tradespeople in carrying out repairs and maintenance tasks, including working at heights.
  • Mix and assist general builders, groundworkers, and plasterers in various tasks.
  • Perform damp and mould washes in customers' homes and complete minor repairs and maintenance within your skillset.
  • Keep storage areas clean and tidy, and undertake clearance of waste from customers' homes, communal areas, and gardens.
  • Deliver equipment and materials to the property care team and customers' homes.

Requirements:

  • General labourer experience or a similar role with transferable skills.
  • Experience in the use of IT equipment.
  • Experience of driving commercial vehicles and using petrol equipment.
  • Experience working in customers' homes.
  • A repairs/maintenance qualification and a Health and Safety qualification are advantageous but not essential.
