Family Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team at Solace Women's Aid. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence.
Job Description- Develop and deliver trauma-informed services to children and young people (0-16 years) and their mothers within our refuges and in the community.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of family needs and risk, ensuring an integrated approach with children and adult services.
- Promote 'Integrated Working' through internal and external mechanisms in partnership with colleagues and community partners.
- Demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable children, young people, and/or families.
- Knowledge of the effects that domestic abuse can have on young people.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, as well as in partnership with other agencies or professionals, to promote family/child wellbeing.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus generous holiday entitlement and a focus on learning and development.
