Job Summary

As a key member of our onsite completion team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our product is delivered on time to the correct quality standard and that the process of completion meets client expectations.

Main Purpose of Role

The purpose of this role is to support deployment activities and ensure all modules are sited and zipped up correctly, with any final works required being done to the specifications of the client and all modules being ready for client handover.

Key Responsibilities and Authority
  1. Communicate effectively with factory/site colleagues and others on site to understand the works required.
  2. Complete tasks to the trained SOPS, ensuring high quality and processes.
  3. Use hand-held tools to make adjustments to materials as needed.
  4. Operate pneumatic and electrical plant and equipment, including hand tools.
  5. Clad panels with sheet materials using semi-automated framing equipment and hand tools.
  6. Make wall panels using semi-automated framing equipment and hand tools.
  7. Fitting of doors/windows and other materials as required.
  8. Work towards deadlines, with additional hours may be required from time to time.
  9. Follow, contribute, and promote TopHat Health and Safety, Environmental Quality Systems.
  10. Perform any other duties as deemed necessary to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications - Essential
  • GSCE Maths & English grade C or equivalent
Qualifications - Desirable
  • CSCS Card
Skills and Experience - Essential
  • Solid judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Able to perform well in a team environment
  • Possess a strong work ethic and sense of urgency – getting things done.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, attention to detail/accuracy is a must
  • Demonstrates high level of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Friendly/professional to stakeholders.
  • Ability to demonstrate TopHat values.
Skills and Experience - Desirable
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with a construction/trade environment
  • Experience of fitting out modules with Tophat cladding system
