Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Drama Teacher to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, working closely with the Director of Performing Arts to develop and implement a curriculum that promotes creativity and academic excellence.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Drama Teacher to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, with a strong behaviour policy that ensures students remain engaged and focused during lessons. You will have the opportunity to work within a small, family-feel department, delivering lessons that cater to the needs of students at different stages of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, promoting creativity and academic excellence.
  • Work closely with the Director of Performing Arts to develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of students.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and structured classroom environment, ensuring teaching time is optimised and behaviour standards are upheld.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a creative subject (drama/performing arts) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Passion for drama and the performing arts, with the ability to deliver engaging lessons to students.
  • Confidence in working within a small, dynamic team, supporting the development of the performing arts department.
