Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will be working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement clinical pharmacy services, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To lead the development of clinical pharmacy services for Oncology and Haematology patients at Colchester Hospital.
  2. To provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to the Oncology & Haematology Clinical Delivery Group.
  3. To lead the implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols for the use of medicines within the Oncology & Haematology Clinical Delivery Group speciality.
  4. To work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement clinical pharmacy services.
Requirements
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy plus Pre-registration training or equivalent
  • Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice or clinical equivalent
