Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operative with FLT to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Counterbalance forklift to load and unload palletised goods from trailers, rigid vehicles, and vans.
  • Use the warehouse system and scanner to receive, locate, and dispatch goods while handling all goods with care and attention.
  • Replenish and consolidate stock as required.
  • Perform general housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment.
  • Complete relevant paperwork in line with warehouse processes, including reporting any defects.
Requirements
  • A current Counterbalance forklift licence is preferred, although full in-house training can be provided.
  • Previous experience of working within the pallet network industry.
  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

  • Starting salary of £27,331 per annum, based on working 45 hours per week.
  • Hours of work are Tuesday to Saturday from 01:00 hours to 10:30 hours.
