At SharkNinja, we're seeking a talented Senior Category Manager to drive commercial performance and optimize our product portfolio. This exciting opportunity will challenge you to analyze market trends, sales data, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Portfolio Management

  • Develop and implement product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize category performance.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to guide new SKU introductions and discontinuations.

Sales Performance Reviews

  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly category performance reviews to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to track category performance at account level and drive decisions on sales and marketing tactics.
  • Manage inventory levels to balance supply with demand and minimize obsolescence.

Promotion Management

  • Develop and oversee long-term and short-term promotional plans to drive category sales and profitability.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities and work with sales and marketing to proactively adjust strategies as needed.

Coordination and Reporting

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and execution of category plans.
  • Track and report on category financial performance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in category or commercial management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and critically about the best course of action to achieve desired objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • A driven individual who thrives on balancing multiple moving pieces simultaneously without letting go of any detail.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Problem-solving and initiative.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at various levels.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
