Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated SEN support specialist to join our primary school team in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of supporting children with SEMH and ASD, and will be confident in creating a safe and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • To work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored lesson plans for students with SEMH and ASD.
  • To manage challenging behaviour and respond effectively to incidents of aggression and meltdowns.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Hold QTS and have experience working with children with SEMH and/or ASD.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
