As a Culinary Operations Manager at Anchor, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality catering service that meets the health, safety, and hygiene requirements of our residents. You will lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide exceptional food and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the catering team and kitchen operations to deliver a quality service.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Control kitchen stock, equipment, and resources within budget.
Requirements:
- Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate with Cater Craft or similar award.
- Health and safety procedures, including COSHH and food safety standards.
- Proven chef and people management experience.
- Basic knowledge of dietary requirements for older people and the impact of food types on medication.
- Safe use of kitchen equipment, including knives.
