Job Title: Band 5 Community Podiatrist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Podiatrist to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 Community Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality podiatry services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver efficient and effective podiatry services to clients registered with Stockport Foundation Trust.
  • Implement individualized care programs for patients with a wide range of clinical needs, including acute or chronic neuropathies, chronic diseases, vascular problems, and wound management.
  • Manage your own caseload, providing specialist care for patients with diabetes, rheumatological, and biomechanical problems.
  • Participate in supervision and mentoring for new graduates.
Person Specification:
  • Essential:
    • B.Sc(Hons) Podiatry
    • HCPC Registration
  • Desirable:
    • Member of Professional Body
Experience:
  • Essential:
    • NHS experience
  • Desirable:
    • Work with the public in another sphere
Skills:
  • Essential:
    • Good knowledge of all clinical podiatry skills
  • Desirable:
    • Nail surgery experience
Knowledge:
  • Essential:
    • Knowledge of multi-disciplinary working
