SHE Excellence in Export Operations


We are seeking a highly skilled SHE Advisor to join our team in Export locations, providing expert safety, health, and environmental guidance to meet legislative and INEOS FPS SHE requirements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate SHE inspections, correspondence, and commitments with regulators, ensuring high-quality outcomes and timely close out of agreements.
  • Manage Environmental licence to operate documentation, including PPC permits, CAR Licenses, and OPPC permits.
  • Provide structured SHE input to Asset CoMAH report reviews, supporting operations and engineering personnel.
  • Facilitate high-quality action-oriented SHE meetings to improve business performance and engagement.
  • Lead Safety Representatives and contractor personnel in delivering SHE initiatives, promoting a workforce-led safety culture.
  • Assure and support Asset Management team in implementing INEOS FPS SHE Management System requirements, including onsite verification.
  • Provide SHE expertise to key business processes, such as incident management, risk management, and assurance.
  • Develop and roll out asset-level assurance plans, tracking delivery and performance.
  • Coordinate and monitor Asset Care (AsCare) program status, actions, and overall scores.
  • Train and guide personnel on the use of action management software (Synergi) for effective SHE inputs and outputs.
  • Oversight 3rd party contractor SHE performance and resource, participating in performance review meetings.


Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Engineering, Science, SHE, or equivalent.
  • Chartered member of IOSH/IEMA or equivalent.
  • Strong SHE, operational, and project experience in high-hazard environments.
  • Balanced experience of all aspects of Safety, Health, and Environmental Management.
  • Track record of delivery, positively changing outcomes, and working productively in multi-disciplined teams.
  • Ability to effectively manage external relationships, communicate, engage, and coach SHE matters.
  • Experience in participating and leading incident investigations and audits.
  • Capability to analyze SHE performance data to influence and improve delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of industry SHE legislation, permitting, and reporting requirements.
  • Detailed understanding of management system principles and implementation.
