About the Role

Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee substations projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to drive significant advancements in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Manage daily activities at substations, ensuring operations align with project specifications and timelines, and maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.

  • Safety and Compliance: Uphold strict safety standards, conducting regular reviews and updates to safety protocols, and ensuring all team members are compliant with health and safety regulations, and adhering to industry standards and best practices.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Direct and support a team of technical professionals, fostering an environment of professional growth and operational excellence, and providing guidance and mentorship to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.

  • Stakeholder Communication and Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication to ensure all parties are informed of project status and developments, and building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in managing substations or related transmission and distribution projects, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.

  • Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficient in managing complex projects, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and productivity.
