A leading professional services firm, FA Consulting Limited t/a NE Finance Recruitment, is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their finance team based in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in practice with exposure to both personal and corporate taxation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax returns for the client portfolio.
  • Handle tax queries from clients and HMRC.
  • Ensure engagement letters are in place with clients.
  • Agree fees with clients and ensure they are billed accordingly.
  • Assist other team members with overall management of client needs.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a personal/corporate tax environment.
  • Ideal background in accountancy practice.
  • Strong client management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritise.
  • Experience with IHT or Trusts is desirable but not essential.
Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience. Additionally, the company offers hybrid working (2-3 days in the office), pension, private medical & dental care, 25 days holiday with ability to buy/sell additional 5, wellbeing days, and discount on gym memberships.
