The JobThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Learning Disability Services Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of support staff and ensuring that individuals receive high-quality care and support.
You will work closely with the Regional Service Manager to develop and implement care plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed. You will also be responsible for providing coaching and guidance to support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of support staff to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with complex learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement care plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed.
- Work closely with the Regional Service Manager to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide coaching and guidance to support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work or nursing.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, working with adults with complex learning disabilities.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and guidelines.
- Degree-level qualification in leadership and management, or ability to achieve within 18 months.
