About the Role
As a key worker, you will provide a crucial service to customers who rely on public transport for daily commutes, important appointments, and social activities.
You will be part of a close-knit driving team that works together to ensure smooth operations. Every day brings new experiences, opportunities to meet diverse individuals, and the satisfaction of knowing your work makes a difference in local communities.
The role involves working varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, with an estimated 39 hours per week. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while navigating through busy routes.
Salary and Benefits
- First-year trainees can earn £12.00 per hour, rising to £13.00 after completing their initial training period.
- Experienced drivers are compensated at £13.00 per hour.
- A comprehensive benefits package includes free travel on our buses for you and your family, along with £6 all-day train travel for you and your loved ones on participating rail networks.
- Onsite parking is provided, and you can participate in our cycle-to-work scheme.
- Paid annual leave and pension scheme contributions round out our attractive compensation package.
Requirements
- A PCV license for experienced drivers, with up-to-date CPC requirements met.
- All drivers must be flexible regarding shift patterns, including early morning and evening duties.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this role.
