About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Sheffield.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with children and young people with additional learning needs, particularly those with non-verbal Autism.
The role involves working 1-1 with a suspected SEND pupil in Reception (FS2) and collaborating with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the pupil receives the necessary care and support.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children and young people with additional learning needs
- Recognised teaching assistant qualification (Level 2, Level 3 or degree in education/transferable skills)
- Strong behaviour management skills and ability to create a calm and positive environment
