Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Support Worker in Haringey. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.
Main Responsibilities:- Personal Care and Support: Ensure high levels of dignity are maintained while supporting individuals with personal care needs, such as eating, drinking, and personal hygiene, in line with their support plans and guidelines.
- Eating and Drinking Guidelines: Follow eating and drinking guidelines for each individual carefully and report any concerns immediately to the therapy coordinator.
- Physical Wellbeing: Support and maintain individuals' physical wellbeing through good manual handling practices.
- Therapeutic Movement Sessions: Maintain individuals' physical welfare by following all OT and Physiotherapy guidelines and supporting the OT and Physio Coordinators to deliver therapeutic movement sessions.
- Communication Skills: Work alongside the Therapy Coordinator to develop your own creative communication skills with individuals who have profound and multiple learning disabilities.
- Enhanced DBS: Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Experience: Have experience in a similar role.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and willing to work across services.
- Specialist Consultant: Work with a specialist consultant within an experienced and dedicated recruitment team.
- Excellent Rates of Pay: Enjoy excellent rates of pay.
- Payroll Services: Benefit from payroll services twice a week.
