Senior Construction Manager

R W Armstrong is a family business with over 65 years of experience working on high-end residential projects in the South of England. We are seeking a skilled Senior Construction Manager to join our team in Blandford.

This role requires strong commercial and technical skills, with a focus on managing multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will have a HNC in Construction or a relevant degree, and detailed knowledge of private residential building contracting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and budget compliance.
  • Collaborate with our experienced teams to ensure project success.
  • Lead in the calculation and preparation of company valuations and final accounts.
  • Prepare and present monthly job cost analysis data.
  • Analyse and improve current methods and procedures.

Requirements

  • HNC in Construction or relevant degree.
  • Detailed knowledge of private residential building contracting.
  • Strong commercial and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with an intermediate level of Excel.

Working Hours

  • 7:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 16:00 on Friday, with a 45-minute unpaid break each day.
