A leading player in the Aerospace sector is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. This role will focus on ensuring all suppliers deliver the highest quality parts and services, contributing significantly to the company's success in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field, and proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector. They will also have strong knowledge of quality systems and standards, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to present data effectively.

The successful Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for owning supplier audit and evaluation to ensure conformance, owning the assessment of new and existing supplier capabilities to meet the expected OTIF delivery, quality, cost, HSE, and applicable regulations, industrial standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities will include regularly monitoring supplier KPI performance and taking actions to secure continuous compliance and leading on supplier improvement activities, including putting development plans in place. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supplier development and process improvement, working with suppliers to ensure that robust process controls are in place to ensure compliance and prevent nonconformities.

The Supplier Quality Engineer will also be responsible for supplier quality monitoring and management, managing the supplier quality performance issues, serving as the liaison between the suppliers and the businesses Quality & Engineering team. They will initiate and see through the resolving of supplier nonconformance issue including supplier quality plan engagement/effectiveness, and corrective & preventative action closure.
