Job Title: Tech Principal

We are seeking a hands-on, software engineer specialist to join our team as a Tech Principal. As a Tech Principal, you will work across a Club's portfolio of clients, onsite and in multi-skilled agile delivery teams. You will use your expert tech knowledge to influence the direction of projects, while coaching a team through engineering best practices to build and deliver remarkable products.

You will champion software quality and technical vision for AND and our clients. This role sits within the Clubs senior team called a Practice Group, where you will inspire and challenge our ANDi's to grow into exceptional digital experts through teaching, mentoring, coaching, and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain full stack software engineering expertise across JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, and other technologies.
  • Mentor and coach developers to help them develop and become more effective in their specialisms.
  • Work with operations teams to shape the people we recruit, the client projects we win, and contribute to the wider digital community.
  • Shape how we deliver our engagements, bringing the best thinking of AND to our clients in terms of standards, templates, ways of working, tools, and accelerators.
  • Experience working as a senior team member in Scrum or Kanban teams, applying best practices and using common teamwork techniques.
