Public Area Cleaner Role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Area Cleaner at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of all public areas, including lobby areas, guest fitness centre, guest laundry, corridors, and stairwells.
  • Clean guest rooms and replenish amenities as needed.
  • Vacuum corridors and stairways to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Change and replenish towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines.
  • Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Restock and maintain trolleys on a daily basis.
  • Report any missing or damaged items and take responsibility for replacing or repairing them to ensure an uninterrupted stay for guests.
  • Ensure all public areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Be environmentally aware and dispose of waste accordingly.
  • Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
  • Carry out lost property procedures.
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
