Join Our Team as an Ecological Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ecological Consultant to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ecological surveys and reports, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, oversee, and deliver the implementation of ecological surveys
  • Manage projects in line with our internal Project Management System
  • Engage with project clients and their stakeholders
  • Analyse and interpret ecological data
  • Prepare consultancy reports
  • Lead business development activity, with support from senior colleagues

Requirements:

  • Robust understanding of UK nature conservation legislation and policy
  • Wide-ranging experience in habitat and protected species survey, including survey design, data management, and analysis
  • Experience in the preparation or review of ecological consultancy reports, including preliminary ecological appraisals, protected species survey reports, and Ecological Impact Assessment
  • Experience of engaging with commercial clients and their stakeholders
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to work antisocial hours, particularly during the bat survey season when night shift work will be necessary
