Job Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Financial Sales Executive to expand our presence within the investment management sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities within hedge funds and asset managers, focusing on equity data products.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and develop a deep understanding of their equity data needs.
  • Conduct high-level consultative sales pitches to buy-side professionals, including portfolio managers and analysts, effectively positioning data solutions.
  • Meet and exceed new business revenue targets, consistently hitting quotas and delivering exceptional sales results.
  • Closely collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure market needs and client feedback are communicated effectively.
  • Maintain and develop deep industry knowledge, staying current with market trends, competitor offerings, and potential new sales avenues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in financial services sales, with a successful track record of exceeding quotas and generating revenue.
  • Strong understanding of the buy side, ideally with specific experience working with hedge funds and asset managers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of investment management, equity markets, and the unique requirements of buy-side professionals.
  • Prior experience selling data products or subscription-based services is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative approach to sales.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience within financial services, with a focus on data or subscription-based products.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
