Job Overview

The UK Compliance Support Specialist will provide consultative, administrative and support services to the UK Compliance Department and the Natixis London Branch. This role will involve assisting with the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) tasks, providing ODEON Ethics Training, maintaining staff training records, and monitoring Gift and Entertainment records.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of regulatory training and exams, and the organization of staff movements.
  • Provide ODEON Ethics Training face-to-face for staff employees on Personal Account Dealing, Outside Business Interests and Gifts and Entertainment.
  • Maintain the induction spreadsheet and record of paperwork associated.
  • Organize and maintain staff training records for compliance face-to-face and e-learning compliance trainings.
  • Maintain OBIs, G&E and PAD records in Odeon Ethics and assist with associated paperwork.
  • Monitor G&E records and PAD.
  • Maintain the Compliance page on the Intranet.
  • Assist with the drafting and updating of UK Compliance Department procedures.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly management information and bi-annual first line of defence figures to senior management.
  • Assist with controls designed to identify and monitor for non-compliance with French Banking Supervisory Authority requirements.
  • Assist the UK Head of Compliance and the UK Compliance Department in its general duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or penultimate year student.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and aspiring to learn and develop.
  • Team spirit, commitment and flexibility.
  • Organized, methodical and flexible, with the ability to investigate perceived or actual issues.
  • Good relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while prioritizing competing objectives.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interest in financial markets and/or risk management.
  • Understanding of the FCA/EU regulatory regime is desirable.
