Job Title: HGV Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an experienced HGV technician to join our well-established vehicle repair workshop in the UK.
This is a full-time opportunity that offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary, estimated at around £52,500 per annum, with a range of perks including 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, a fully equipped company van for work-related travel, and mobile phone and iPad for communication and record-keeping.
Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose, repair, and maintain various heavy goods vehicles to ensure optimal performance, following industry standards and regulations.
- Customer Service: Travel to customer sites to perform inspections, services, and repairs, providing exceptional service and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
- Diagnostics: Operate diagnostic tools and software to maintain accurate service records, identifying issues promptly and efficiently.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with a team of technicians to ensure the timely completion of work, promoting a positive and productive working environment.
- Service Standards: Maintain a high standard of service in both workshop and field environments, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Experience: Previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Certification: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance, with up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Skillset: Skilled with diagnostic tools and software applications, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Driver's License: Hold a valid driving licence, with a clean driving record and ability to drive safely and efficiently.
