We are seeking an experienced Lift Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that lifts operated by our engineers comply with current standards, operate as designed, and remain reliable.

The ideal candidate will provide first-line support to our maintenance and repair engineers, ensuring relevant training to maintain safe operations and upskilled knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain awareness of Health & Safety At Work regulations.
  2. Stay updated on British Standards and EN compliance regulations.
  3. Keep informed about equipment technical and product improvements.
  4. Ensure test tooling is in good order and equipment is calibrated/in date.
  5. Support first-line engineers with elevated technical investigation capability.
  6. Monitor portfolio-maintained units to identify 'rogue' units with excessive/repeat call backs.
  7. Provide technical reports to Contract Managers/Head of Service and Repair on findings and actions.
  8. Identify potential training interactions and deliver upon design to improve capabilities.
  9. Work directly with OEM/supply chain for thorough investigation and final closure of faults.
  10. Remain competent and aware of all technical tools that can assist in diagnosis and action clarification.
Experience and Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrable experience in Lift Maintenance (multiple years).
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. NVQ level 4 - Maintenance Technician qualification.
  4. Varied knowledge of Public Sector specification lift installations and manufacturers.
