Senior Software Architect

We're seeking a skilled Senior Software Architect to join our dynamic Haven Digital team. As a key member of our Sales Tribe, you will architect and construct solutions that support our ongoing transformation. Your expertise will be instrumental in bridging the gap between product and tech, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the latest open source tools as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Develop clean, quality code with the aim of improving NPS/customer scores
• Compile and maintain good quality documentation
• End to end problem solving – you will write the code and take responsibility for it working
• Decide as a team when code is ready to ship, having tested it
• Take responsibility for how what you build performs in production

Requirements:
• Previous experience of teamwork in a cloud-first environment
• A core understanding of digital products – user cases, users, interactions to build the right solution for the customer
• Solid experience of building responsive designs, implementing performance optimisation and creating best-in-class web frontend components on a wide variety of third party applications and systems
• Solid experience of creative and robust backend engineering using modern technologies
• Solid experience of solution architecture and API development, with good understanding of data structures and design patterns
• Experience of a tech stack including Typescript, React, SQL and Postgres
• Experience working with Cloud & DevOps systems – AWS, Terraform
• Strong track record of collaboration within multi-disciplinary product teams
• Experience of TDD - Jest
