About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing, administering, and maintaining multiple finance systems. Your primary focus will be on supporting the preparation of financial accounts for our UK business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for financial duties, including month-end close, annual activities, and the use of SAP S/4HANA, BW, and other financial systems.
  • Support S4HANA data interface and reconciliations.
  • Triage with the business and IT teams to resolve errors and request manual tasks.
  • Oversee access rights for new and left users to relevant systems.
  • Understand the path of improvements and future innovations to release business value from the technology landscape.
  • Focus on financial activities to ensure the business is ready for month-end.
  • Manage daily controls reports, investigate differences, and work with IT to resolve problems.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts, including creating new accounts, cost centers, and profit centers.
  • Manage month-end closing activities in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Manage S/4HANA allocation tables for planning and reporting.
  • Approve and own change requests for configuration changes to S/4HANA.
  • Approve and own change requests for new and updated SAP BW queries, reports, and input templates.
  • Manage fiscal year closing activities for FP&A.
  • Maintain SAP Master Data and manage mapping tables.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Coordinate with technical back-end support teams.
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing processes.
  • Perform other ad-hoc administration duties as agreed with the Manager.
  • Maintain documentation of working practices and procedures.
About You

We are looking for someone who is committed to continuous improvement and comfortable with different financial systems. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in a financial reporting role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of financial processes and statements.
Desirable:
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC, BW, and SAP S/4HANA.
  • AAT qualified.
