Job Description



We are seeking an experienced and skilled logistics professional to join our team as a Senior Logistics Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies to meet the MOD's operational needs. This will involve managing the movement of goods, materials, and personnel, as well as coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.



As a Senior Logistics Manager, you will have significant experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You will be a strong communicator and leader, able to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional performance. You will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.



Required Skills and Qualifications



To be successful in this role, you will need:





  • a recognised qualification in logistics or supply chain management;

  • significant experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably within a military or defence context;

  • proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team;

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels;

  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
