We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our team at Howden Group Holdings. As an Account Handler, you will play a crucial role in delivering an excellent and comprehensive service to our clients in the Motor Trade industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake market exercises to establish the most competitive terms available for our clients.
  • Obtain renewal terms and present them to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Issue renewal documentation in line with contract certainty and ensure premiums are collected prior to the commencement of cover.
  • Handle all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner and process them effectively in line with service standards.
  • Record all relevant information, correspondence, and documentation on Acturis and make effective use of the diary system.
  • Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premium.
  • Actively cross-sell products from other Divisions to enhance our clients' experience.
Requirements
  • Must have experience working with commercial products within the insurance industry.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, and ability to process work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good negotiation and broking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information from clients and respond appropriately to their level of understanding.
