About the Project: Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working on a £25m cut and carve scheme on an office block of eight storeys, located in London Bridge. This project will provide the ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to gain experience in cost management, payments, and subcontractor accounts.

Job Description: The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor on site with various tasks, including cost management, payments, and subcontractor accounts. You will also be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date with project progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with cost management and payment planning
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure project progress
  • Manage subcontractor accounts and payments

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor. You should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of construction methods and practices.
