About the Role

Nigel Wright Group is pleased to be working with a leading business in the North East, seeking a talented Junior Data Analyst to join their team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with the Financial Analyst to drive business decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the Data Analyst to develop and maintain data solutions, reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present data insights to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide support as required.
  • Collect, organise, and maintain large sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, including CRM, financial records, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Internships and academic projects involving data analytics are highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Excel for querying databases.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python or R, for data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
