Are you a qualified accountant looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and growing accountancy practice?

We are seeking an experienced Account and Data Executive to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our accounts team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accounts team, implementing workflow procedures, and ensuring clients' statutory accounts are maintained to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in managing teams and implementing processes. You will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to junior team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounts team, delegating tasks and responsibilities, and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Implement and maintain efficient workflow processes, ensuring high-quality results
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA/ICAEW or equivalent)
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and accounting software (Xero, IRIS, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
  • Previous experience in an accountancy firm, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
