About the Role:

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost plans and pricing for projects and packages, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. They will also take ownership of procurement packs, challenge the pre-construction and design teams, and liaise effectively with Quantity Surveyors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Planning and Pricing: Prepare accurate cost plans and pricing for projects and packages, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Procurement Preparation: Take ownership of procurement packs, getting them ready for tender.
  • Team Collaboration: Challenge the pre-construction and design teams to ensure the best outcomes for the project.
  • Liaison with Quantity Surveyors: Understand and communicate effectively with QSs to ensure accurate and comprehensive project costing.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits as required to gather information and ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the drylining industry.
  • Structured career history.
  • Ability to travel when needed to sites across the Northwest.
  • Ability to reach and work from the Burnley office.
