Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Finchley Central Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging and stimulating learning environments that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the individual needs of each child are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure the nursery maintains a safe, healthy, and happy environment for all children and staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and relevant legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
