Job Title: Resident Maintenance Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role in a dynamic company? Swisslog is seeking a Resident Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Grantham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on automated machinery, including cranes, conveyors, vertical lifts, monorail systems, and deep freeze high bays.
  • Work in a cold environment (-18 degrees) and ensure quality of output at all times.
  • Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
  • Prioritize system faults and accurately record all work undertaken.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.

Requirements:

  • An apprentice-trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal, but training will be provided.
  • Happy to work at heights and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience of working with a CMMS system.
