Job Title: Student Support Co-ordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Support Co-ordinator to join our Inclusion team at a prestigious Academy located in a beautiful coastal village. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable students and promoting their learning and welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver individualized support provisions for students with Education Health Care Plans and advisory reports.
  • Work closely with the Inclusion team to manage the room and provide personalized timetables for students.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure effective support and communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote student inclusion and well-being.

Requirements:

  • At least 12 months of experience in Secondary Pupil Support.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong rapport-building strategies and ability to work with reluctant learners.
  • Experience in managing SEMH or ASD cases.
  • DBS Enhanced clearance and on the update service.
  • Timetabling experience and understanding of EHCPs.
  • A passion for improving academic and conduct-based outcomes.
  • A calm, kind, and approachable nature.
